Facilities at Castle Green

We have a choice of facilities suitable for a wide range of leisure and community activities.

We offer a flexible pricing scheme for all our customers. Online booking requests will receive a quotation via email or you can call us to discuss your needs. Registered users have access to all their booking information and can easily make repeat bookings and manage their account.

River Room

Capacity: 50 people
Pricing: £17.00-£22.50 per hour

Overlooking the river on the ground floor. Seats up to 50 people for presentations, workshops or public meetings, with tables and chairs included in the hire. Ideal for exercise classes, large meetings and parties. Equipped with AV equipment.

Equipment & services

The room is set up in the layout you request. Tea and coffee equipment is provided in the room. Staff clear away furniture and refreshment equipment after your booking. *Please note you will need to remove your own rubbish*

Artists Room

Capacity: 50 people
Pricing: £17.00-£22.50 per hour

Immediately above the River Room on the first floor, overlooking the river and with far-reaching views to Dinedor Hill and beyond, with superb quality of light. This is a useful room for art classes, training events, all day meetings or exercise classes. Fully accessible by lift. Equipped with AV equipment.

Club House + Bowling Green

Capacity: 100 people
Pricing: £10.00-£30.00 per hour

The Club House is a timber structured building with no frills, but a useful meeting space with access to power and water. The Club House can be hired by the hour by community groups looking for a basic meeting space.

The former bowling green is a large enclosed outdoor space, approximately 2000 square metres, ideal for outdoor events and community get-togethers.
